  1. I have been looking into alternatives to the traditional mops (string, sponge, etc.). The floor never seems to be clean. I've recently tried a steam mop but I'm not that impressed. Seems like a good solution. What do you use for floor cleaning? Any working tips would help. Thanks.
  2. Hi Carline, I use a Hoover Floormate to mop my floors. I find it great and gets my floors super clean without using lots of chemicals. The machine scrubs the floor first of all with water then sucks up the dirty water so you are not just pushing the dirt around with the mop. I bought it from Bed Bath & Beyond for $150 but then used a coupon so I found it reasonably priced. I have had the machine for almost three years and love it. I hope you find something that works for you! Jayne.
  3. Thanks Jayne. I'll definitely check the Floormate out.

A friend of mine swear by the "shark", its quick and easy, you just add water, steams the tile, you can also use it on wood and rug. She said you can find it at Sams for about $100.00. I did see her clean her tile on day and it was really shiny and no film of anything left behind, and it was dried right away. Im going to invest in one soon. I do not like mopping, its very strainning on my back.
    Take care
  4. Thanks Silvia. I picked up a steam mop similar to the Shark but I don't know. The excitement about it went away after I tried it. Maybe I'm not using it right  Still trying it.
